- Phthalates are all over the news. I know I'm supposed to avoid them. Do your cosmetics contain Phthalates?
All of our ingredients are 100% PHTHALATE-FREE, including all of our makeup and all of our skin care and scented products. Not many cosmetic companies can say that.
- Does your Mineral Makeup have Bismuth in it?
Absolutely NOT! Bismuth Oxychloride is a mineral, but one that has a history of causing irritation and itching. This is especially noticeable in warmer, damp climates.
- Does your makeup contain Talc? I've heard it's bad for you.
Again.... No! There's a huge debate about talc in the cosmetic industry. It is usually the first ingredient (and highest %) of most of the powdered products you buy at the stores. The biggest complaint about talc is it's tendency to cause breakouts. We have opted for more expensive base ingredients, such as treated sericite mica. You are worth it!

- Where's the security lock for your site?
You will see the security lock after you add items to your cart and are ready to checkout. None of your information is asked for until you reach the secure checkout section. You will also see our SSL certificate on the checkout page requesting your information for credit card payment.
- Can I mail in my order or call it in?
Sorry, but we do not have phone support at this time. Orders can only be placed online.
- Can I cancel or change an order?
We pride ourselves in super fast packaging of your order. Orders are generally shipped by the next business day. This leaves very little time for changes to your order. If we are contacted before your order is packaged and shipped, we will gladly try to accommodate your needs.
- When will my order arrive?
You will be notified by e-mail when your order has shipped. It depends on how your order is shipped. Order shipped to USA via 1st class mail usually arrive in less than a week. International 1st class mail shipments normally arrive in 2-4 weeks. Priority shipments to the USA normally arrive in 2-3 days. Global priority shipments normally arrive in 4-6 days. Orders containing samples only are shipped via 1st class mail. Estimated delivery time is 6-12 days,USA, 7-14 days internationally. Inclimate weather and holidays effects their shipping estimates.
- What if I never get my order, or it's damaged?
All full size orders are insured through the carrier for the amount of the order. Your order will include a receipt. Please retain all product and packaging, it will be needed to process your claim. Contact customer service immediately for return instructions and authorization.
- What if my order is incorrect/missing items?
Please notify us within 24 hours of receipt of your order. We will confirm the mistake and promptly correct it.
- Do I have to pay tax?
More Minerals is located in Oregon. Oregon doesn't have sales tax!
- What if the shade is way different than it looked on your website?
Computer monitors and color settings vary, so the shade you see can be somewhat different than what it looks like in person. We highly recommend you order samples first. Samples are inexpensive with free shipping. Then you will know exactly what you are ordering when you buy the full size! Keep in mind that mineral foundation is very forgiving, and tends to "meld" with your skin tone.
- Can I pick up my order? Does it have to be mailed?
I'm sorry but we are not set up for a storefront shopping experience and our insurance prohibits customers coming directly to our studio for parcel pickup. If you would like to order from our website we are more than happy to ship it to you with the most cost-effective carrier.
